Julia, it's simply a miracle! Only two attempts to nip all day, not a single rear! And all it took was 'forward–stand–back' and a click. I have five horses, two of them stallions, and at first there was a pile of behavioural problems. Once we began bringing Julia's gentle methods into our life, the horses changed dramatically for the better. I'd put hay in the paddock and walk in to train — and the horses chose me! It's simply magic — that indescribable feeling when you move as one.
The video courses turned out to be very convenient: before each session with my horses I'd rewatch the relevant part and apply it straight away. If something didn't work, I'd watch again. That's the big advantage of video — at live seminars, with all the emotion and the flood of information, you miss a lot.
Don't hesitate for a moment! Julia's method works for beginners and professional trainers alike, and distance is no obstacle at all. Her love and warmth for her work, for horses and for people, can be felt from miles away. I bought the certificate, and those months of learning were magical — my horse and I reached a new level.
Seminars in Cyprus
As someone working in animal psychology, I saw that Julia knows a great deal and, above all, knows how to apply it in practice. This course lets you leap to an entirely different level of communication with any horse — in literally 10–15 minutes. One moment a horse treats people as nothing; a quarter of an hour later it follows you — attentive, calm and trusting. This really is magic!
I've been around horses since I was seven; at fifteen I gave up riding and began studying gentle methods. And at last, thanks to my wonderful teacher Julia, I found the right direction. We spent a week in Cyprus, living within the herd, and for the first time in my life the soul of the horse truly began to open to me. And it only opens in complete freedom — without iron, without coercion.
A wonderful way to rest body and soul, to learn the language of horses, and to spend time with bright, warm people. Swimming at sunrise, running through the fields, sessions in the arena, watching the sunset — it was truly beautiful. If you're still thinking about it — don't think, just decide. Julia, I'm thrilled — your method really works! Today I worked with my mare: five years old, quite a character, who only six months ago would throw riders and refused to be washed or have her hooves trimmed. In half an hour we learned to halt in sync, step back together, weave serpentines and turn — and she was doing all of it for the very first time!
Honestly, I'm not brave — at Julia's seminar I even cried out of fear of the horse. But it gives me strength. Now, a couple of months after the seminar, I work with stallions their owners consider aggressive, horses that had attacked trainers — and they let me kiss their noses. And it's all thanks to Julia and what I learned at the seminar.
After Cyprus I set up an after-school club for children, and now I've spent two years as senior trainer at a regional Olympic-reserve centre, teaching riders the gentle methods. All our backing is done on completely free horses, without lunge lines or bridles. The children discover a whole universe when a horse begins to obey for praise alone, as if by magic. I was lucky enough to attend a seminar when Julia came to us in Ufa. It turned my whole worldview upside down.
